Delivery Policy :
Dilmah
Tea is packed fresh, and when we receive your order we produce your
teas garden fresh. For this reason we need upto 14 days to process and
ship your teas. In most cases we achieve this in 7 days although for
the special leaf teas in particular we may need 14 days. Please allow
14 days as a guide in case you are ordering Dilmah as a gift for a special
event. You can track your order at our Tea Boutique by logging into
your account.
Security
of your Payment :
Your
payments are processed entirely on the Secure Payment Site operated
by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC). Your
card details are not received or stored by Dilmah Online in any form,
and when you place an order as part of the checkout process you are
automatically taken to the HSBC Secure Payment facility. Your credit
card information will be securely transmitted to HSBC for transaction
authorization using SSL 128-bit encryption. All payments are denominated
in United State dollars (US$).
The SSL Security
protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity
and client authentication. The 128-bit SSL session which protects your
data is several trillion times stronger in encryption that conventional
40-bit SSL and offers excellent protection for your personal financial
information.
Privacy
Policy
We
value the confidentiality of your personal information. In order to
guarantee your protection from abuse of your financial information,
we do not store any personal financial information on our servers and
process all payments securely on the HSBC Secure Payment Site (see Security
of Your Payment above). This data is protected by SSL 128-bit encryption.
Other personal information entered at Dilmah Online for contact purposes
is not divulged to any third party entity, and used solely for the purpose
authorized by you, for information relating to your order, general Dilmah
product information or Tea newsletters.
Returns Policy
Any product purchased at the Dilmah Tea Boutique could be returned within
30 days of delivery for a full refund. If you are returning the product
due to an error on our part, we will also pay shipping costs.
Return
is subject to the following conditions :
- full
refund of the amount debited to your card or received as payment for
that specific order, and for the products returned in full. Return shipping
costs are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error.
- Since we are based in Sri Lanka and picked, perfect, pack and ship
direct from Colombo in the interests of quality and freshness, shipping
is a major component of our product cost. Hence we cannot accept returns
for exchange due to a preference for a different tea for example, unless
there is a defect in the product. We hope you understand.
- We cannot accept any Product after 30 days of delivery.
- We cannot accept a Product that has been largely consumed (more than
two servings).
We
are confident that you will enjoy your Dilmah Tea, although if for some
reason you have a need to return your order, please complete and submit
the form below. We will contact you within 48 hours to agree on the
return. Refund will be made by the same method as payment was received
for your order.
